The Aurora Borealis appear during Lapland's winter months and are most likely to be seen in clear weather. They are often described as arcs or ribbons of colour which dance across the sky in shades of green, blue, red and yellow. Lapland is one of our best locations for seeing the Northern Lights although we cannot guarantee that you will see the natural phenomena during your holiday.
