Hammerfest and Tromsø

Hammerfest lays claim to being the world’s most northern town and this Northern Lights voyage stops here before sailing on to Tromsø where you can watch the fabulous Midnight Concert at the Arctic Cathedral.

Day 5 -
Lofoten Islands

Cross the Arctic Circle and Visit Rørvik

Trondheim and Ålesund

The ship sails into the medieval city of Trondheim early morning where you will have the chance to explore the fascinating streets and see the magnificent Gothic Cathedral that is an iconic landmark. Northern Lights cruises continue past Hitra Island, making fleeting stops at Kristiansund and Molde before finally reaching Ålesund at midnight.

Explore Bergen

Today there may be time to see the highlights of Bergen, which is Norway’s second largest city. Bryggen Harbour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a delightful area to walk around and the colourful houses that line the waterfront make a striking backdrop.
The Aurora Borealis cruise terminates in Bergen. Transfer to the airport to catch your return flight home.
