Starting from Tromsø, the Arctic capital of Norway, you will sail along the coast above the Arctic Circle to Kirkenes. Day 1 -
Direct charter flight to Tromsø

Begin your venture by taking a direct charter flight to Tromsø which is some 2000 kilometres south of the North Pole. It is a recommended locale for viewing the magnificent Northern Lights and soaking up the charming ambience of the town. There are superb eating places, a contemporary art gallery and buzzing nightlife for those who like a diverse range of activities. You fly from Gatwick at 10:00; arriving at Tromsø at 14:30 (please note that times of flights may be subject to change).

Days 2 to 3 -
Pass North Cape onto Kirkenes

Relax and enjoy the dramatic scenery of overhanging cliff faces framing the horizon as you sail north up the coast to Kirkenes. You will arrive in plenty of time to take advantage of one of the elective excursions on offer, ride with the huskies on a sledge, experience a snowmobile safari or simply take in some historic nostalgia and visit the Russian border. Once you have had a glimpse of this remote region of Norway you will be navigated back to Tromsø.

Day 4 -
Tromso
|
You will revisit Tromsø, stopping at the rural district of Hammerfest before finally making your way back home. Hammerfest is the oldest town in northern Norway and is a popular hiking destination, once you have absorbed the ambience of the notable town you will journey back to Tromsø. Arrival will be late evening and you will be transferred to a central hotel where you will have booked in advance either a one or two night stay.

Day 5 -
Tromsø departure

On your final day you can take advantage of the range of possible activities on offer, or you may just want to take a leisurely stroll around the town before preparing for the voyage home. Depending on how many nights you have chosen to stay in Tromsø, you will depart on either the 5th or 6th day at 15:30 and are due to land in Gatwick at 18:00 (Please note that times of flights may be subject to change).
